The Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM) is an organization of families, educators, care givers, and professionals committed to supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).  AuSM provides services and information for parents, advocacy, behavioral consultation, workshops, a lending library, parent education classes, parent support groups, camps and resources.

Metro Friendship Foundation  MFF is a charitable organization that grants scholarships to qualified individuals on the autism spectrum who live within the Twin Cities 7-County Metro Area seeking social skills development through approved providers. Connections: Social Skills Camp is an approved provider, so please reference their website to learn how to apply for scholarships.

St. Francis Capable Kids located in Chaska, MN provides occupational, physical and speech therapy services to children in a fun, safe and friendly environment designed specifically with kids in mind.  They offer several Special Programs, including Hippotherapy (horseback riding), Fitness and Strength Training for Kids, Sensory RASErs, Social Groups, Handwriting Program, Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding, and Therapeutic Listening.

Therapy for Me! is outpatient developmental, sensory-based pediatric clinic in Eden Prairie offering occupational and speech/language therapy services for children from birth to mid-teens who have a variety of developmental needs.

Kid Talk is a pediatric therapy center that is focused on developing, improving and enhancing the skills children need to lead quality lives. Services offered include speech therapy, occupational therapy, feeding therapy, Fast ForWord,  Handwriting Without Tears and more.

Courage Center is a Minnesota-based non-profit rehabilitation and resource center that empowers people with disabilities to realize their full potential in every aspect of life.  Courage Center offers a wide range of services for individuals who have autism and sensory disorders, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, SOS, Sensory-Motor Gyms, behavior services, teen pre-driving classes, Clown Fish Swim Team, Courage Center Rock Climbing Program and more!

Minnetonka Pediatric Therapy Center is offering yogo for kids with special needs this summer. They also provide speech, occupational, and physical therapy. Specialty Programs include Listening Programs, Music Therapy, Oral Motor and Feeding Therapy.

St. David’s Center for Children & Family Development in Minnetonka offers Early Childhood Education , Pediatric Therapies, Mental Health Services, Community Special Needs Services, Early Intervention and Support.  Therapies include Autism Day Treatment programs, Autism Support Services, Feeding Therapy, Music Therapy, OT , PT, and Speech-Language Therapy. St. David’s offers social skills and Stressbusters groups.

Miracle League of Minnesota provide opportunities for children between the ages of 3-19 with disabilities to play baseball, regardless of ability.  The Miracle League provides every child an opportunity to hit the ball and score a run.  Miracle League team members are assigned “buddies” who assist them in hitting the ball and “running” the bases.
